About Tamar/ Owner-Operator

Tamar is a licensed and board certified massage therapist with over ten years experience in the field. Her extensive training includes a wide array of therapeutic techniques including deep tissue and myofascial massage.

She is passionate about helping clients to soothe and alleviate chronic symptoms such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, and tension due to repetitive stress. She also loves working with expectant women in all stages of pregnancy.

Prior to graduating from Spa Tech Institute's holistic and therapeutic massage programs in Westbrook, Maine, Tamar received her bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from Portland State University in Oregon. She has owned and operated Inner Truth Massage since 2008. Tamar enjoys nature, yoga, meditation, cooking healthy meals, and hanging with her musician husband, RC Thomas and their happy baby boy, Arlo.

About Joe

Joe graduated from Spa Tech Institute in Westbrook, ME and is a licensed massage therapist. He has over five thousand hours of hands-on client time and has gained a comprehensive understanding of human anatomy and know-how to assist clients in reaching their highest potential.

Joe has been helping people with chronic and acute pain for over ten years. He provides an individualized therapeutic session, addressing myoskeletal discomfort, to help the body achieve a better state of balance. Joe specializes in lower back, upper back, and hip work and can apply medium, firm or deep pressure depending on each client's needs. His combination of soothing strokes incorporated with deep tissue techniques leave you feeling renewed.

About Melissa

Melissa is a licensed massage therapist, and is also a graduate from Spa Tech Institute in Westbrook ME, with a focus on  holistic massage. She specializes in several modalities, including deep tissue massage, neuromuscular therapy, myofascial work, cupping therapy, sports massage, and Thai massage. Melissa uses a firm pressure and incorporates stretching and range of motion in her sessions. She provides an amazing massage that combines deep relaxation techniques with anatomy-based bodywork, delivered with intention.

Melissa's goal is to help clients feel their best by providing an individualized treatment plan after a thorough intake and assessment. In her free time, she loves baking, exercising, theater, spending time with friends and family, as well as enjoying her 3 dogs.

About Amy

Amy is a licensed massage therapist native to New Hampshire's seacoast region. She received her massage training at Great Bay Community College with an Associate's Degree in Massage Therapy. Her modalities include Swedish, neuromuscular, orthopedic, and prenatal massage, and techniques ranging from myofascial and lymphatic drainage, to trigger point release, stretching, hydrotherapy, and hot stone.

Amy's platform allows her to offer individualized treatments based on the needs and wishes of each client. She is purposeful and mindful with her work, using a combination of intuition and education as her guides in order to respond uniquely to each particular condition. She is an effective communicator and has a dynamic comprehension of the human body and how it functions, allowing for deeper understanding of potential issues, as well as how to help resolve these issues.

About Rebecca

Rebecca is a Licensed Massage Therapist in Maine and New Hampshire. She graduated from the New Hampshire Institute for Therapeutic Arts. The program she completed rounded out her training with a variety of techniques, including Swedish massage, reflexology, neuromuscular techniques, lymphatic drainage massage, circulatory massage, sports massage, and trigger point therapy, as well as emphasizing an extensive comprehension of anatomy and physiology. She is also a certified aromatherapist by the Boston School of Herbal Studies, and enjoys sharing her knowledge and application of essential oils.

Rebecca is passionate about creating an environment where people can thoroughly relax that allows them to connect and bring awareness back to their bodies. She creates a space for clients to feel safe and cared for as she uses a combination of skills and light to medium pressure to alleviate tension. In her free time, she is a passionate horsewoman, outdoor adventurer, and good food enthusiast. She enjoys finding the balance between her love of travel and love for home.

About Lisa

Lisa has been a licenced massage therapist for the better part of seventeen years. She graduated from NEIWH and shortly thereafter continued her education at the Esalen Institute in beautiful Big Sur, California.

An "eclectic blend" is how she best describes her style, with a real focus on addressing the individual needs of each client. She specializes in deep tissue, Swedish, relaxation, working with repetitive motion and athletic injuries, esalen style, CranioSacral therapy, neuromuscular and integrative techniques.

Her love of nature, travel, meditation and movement practices bring a deepening of awareness to her work with the intention of providing the best possible experience for each person.

About Kelly

Kelly is a licensed massage therapist with over ten years experience working in chiropractic and physical therapy settings. She graduated from the New Hampshire Institute for Therapeutic Arts (NHITA) Bridgeton, Maine campus. There, Kelly completed an extensive course outline including: Swedish massage, neuromuscular therapy, trigger point, sports and orthopedic massage, reflexology, and lymphatic drainage.  She has experience in both the medical massage field as well as the spa environment, having helped clients on their healing journeys from acute and chronic injuries and pain patterns.
