Tamar Smookler, LMT has owned and operated Inner Truth Massage since 2008.  In that time, she has been delighted to see her business flourish while bringing in other talented practitioners and workshop leaders into the expanding space to share their knowledge and gifts.

Originally from New York, Tamar grew up in the beautiful White Mountains of NH. She graduated from White Mountains Regional High School in 1997 and has since spent time living in Denver Colorado, Portland Oregon, and Southern Maine.

In 2006, Tamar received a bachelor's of science in health studies with a focus on prevention from Portland State University in Oregon. She then moved back to New England to complete both the holistic and therapeutic massage programs at Spa Tech Institute in Westbrook, ME.

Her bodywork training includes a total of 620 classroom hours and 130 clinic hours. Tamar continues to learn and marvel at the intricacies and workings of the human body and it's connection to mind and spirit.
